What is '20/20' Ruby Franke episode about?

The "20/20" installment, "Ruby Franke: From Momfluencer to Felon," details the horrific abuse Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrandt inflicted on her children, told through "never-before-seen body camera video, recorded calls, and Ruby’s own journal detailing the horrific abuse,” according to ABC.

Franke, once a successful mommy vlogger with her YouTube channel “8 Passengers,” was arrested last August, after one of her children escaped from her home and went to a neighbor for help, who called the police after noticing duct tape wounds and clear signs of malnourishment.

Both women, who pleaded guilty to multiple counts of aggravated child abuse, were sentenced in February to four to 30 years in prison.

The episode, reported on by “Nightline” co-anchor Juju Chang, includes exclusive interviews with Jodi Hildebrandt’s niece, Jessi Hildebrandt, the attorney of Ruby Franke's estranged husband, Kevin Franke, and three of Jodi Hildebrandt’s former therapy patients, along with police interviews, interrogation tapes, and more.
